right now i'm in computer class. and i really hate this class cause it's boring. but at least i get to goof around on the internet. usually she doesn't really notice. but i'm hoping to get out of this class in the next few days. i guess i'm going to go downstairs to start.
idk...why i'm writing in this again.
i guess i just forgot i had a journal.

The Constitution was a topic of debate in the mid 18th century. The Articles of Confederation, which had been the basis of the U.S. before it, wasn’t working well. As for what to do about that, different people had different opinions. Some were for it, some were against it, and some had no opinions.
The problems with the Articles of Confederation were endless. Poor farmers in New England were left helpless as rich people led the government. These farmers wanted paper currency, lower taxes and judicial reform. The farmers then took ruthless actions by having a rebellion led by Daniel Shays, in which they took over a handful of courthouses. The Revolutionary War had just ended and already the government was in need of reform. Document 1 states how there was turmoil all around the U.S. and there needed to be change. As a response to Shay’s Rebellion and other things, George Washington wrote a letter to John Jay about
